 RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA)'s goal "is to develop a nationwide network of certified professional RV technicians across North America that have undergone a strict, standardized testing and certification process to ensure that the end consumer is getting a quality diagnosis and repair by a true professional."

Certified RV technicians have been trained and tested on many different issues in multiple RVs among various brands. This exposure is important for correct diagnosis and the ability to identify when a replacement is needed versus when something can simply be repaired. Anyone can swap out parts, but YouTube videos and self-taught techs only get so far in the vast and complex world of RV repairs.
